Installation Procedure
Step #1
- Address an intention letter to Corporación Zona Franca Industrial de Puerto Plata, outlining the particulars of the company (i.e. technical profile of the project, number of employees, space needed, and list of shareholders)
- The request will be reviewed and evaluated in the next Council Meeting.
- Once the Council had gone over the request, the solicitor will be informed of the fact if the request has been approved and, if so, a No Objection letter will be handed over for processing the license before the National Board of Free Zones.
Step #2
- Submit the No Objection letter, issued by the Park operator, to the Dominican Republic National Free Zones Council.
- Submit the form of Permit Installation Request granted by the National Council of Free Zone Export or taken from the web page, duly completed.
- Final or preliminary documentations of the enterprise, with the list of stockholders, citizenship and contributions
- Certified check issued in favor of Consejo Nacional de Zonas Francas de Exportación.
- Letter of Solvency or any other documentation which identifies the investment.
The requirements aforementioned must be deposited in the offices of the National Council of Free Zones of Exportation for its evaluation and approval.
